"Some people play golf or tennis, athletes play handball!!"

Join the SAHA!

Yes, the Sacramento area has a bunch of handball players that have organized.

In the late 1980's a group of local players decided to pool some money together in order to promote the game.

The Sacramento Area Handball Association (SAHA) is basically an expense sharing association.  If you play handball (or want to learn) and are looking for games, SAHA will provide you with all the information you need.  For a contribution of $20 per year,

SAHA:

  • Pays for the expenses associated with running a handball league.
  • Pays for the expenses associated with the maintenance of a web site.
  • Purchases gloves & balls for sale to the members at a discount.
  • Maintains a roster of members for contact and information sharing purposes.
  • Sends out newsletters via email when possible and hard copy when necessary.
  • Lends Support to the Sacramento Open Handball Tournament.
  • Promotes handball in the Sacramento Area by providing food and drink at usually about 4 fun days per year.
